A letter to Thom Yorke
A letter to Thom Yorke
Dear Thom,
We've been following the discussion on twitter about the impact streaming services have on artists.
For the past two years we've watched the rise of the streaming business and how it affects the music industry. And we've come to the same conclusions: if artists don't make money, the music business will be doomed.
As a result, in 2012 we set up NuPlays - a new online service for indie artists, labels and fans.
We've contributed lots of time, effort and our own money to create a real game changer based on a new business model; it's designed to help artists earn money by delivering fans more experiences.
NuPlays.com is a powerful tool, but the idea behind is very simple:
- We deliver tools helping artists to earn money, by inspiring them AND providing platform to sell everything related to their music: mp3, CDs, t-shirts, electronic merch, tickets, vinyls, private shows, and more
- we provide the service for both labels and indie artists, leaving all the rights with the artists/content owners
- We operate worldwide; artists and labels can define availability and prices for any country in the world.
We're working hard on a number of new features helping artists to deliver more and more experiences. For a starter we've integrated a platform for streaming concerts, allowing artists to sell "e-concerts". But this is only the beginning - more exciting features to be delivered over next months.

Please take a look at our service and - hopefully - bring your music to NuPlays.
Warm regards,
Paul Soproniuk
